The Cypress Provincial Park, Vancouver

Yeap. ME:))) The Cypress Provincial Park is the most westerly of the parks around Vancouver and it takes its name from the huge old red and yellow cedars that grow there. What I loved about it was the great feeling of outdoors freedom just a few steps away from the parking lot. The trails are well marked, although rugged and muddy some times. Good trekking shoes and lots of spare time are a must before going there. Make sure you leave the park before sunset. A day pass is $42, too much if you ask me.
