Places to see in Vancouver

What I liked best about Vancouver was Chinatown, the area around Main Street and Mapletree Square. I think this is the liveliest and funniest place to be in this city. It's full of shops, markets, hotels, tiny restaurants and dim alleys, but I find most puzzling is that there aren't virtually any two places that look the same, it's amazing how these Chinese people can be so creative. What bothered me though was how easily you can run into a scam or get robbed there. I would be very cautious about going out at night in the isolated parts in Chinatown which have the ill-fame of being crime-ridden.
