grizzly's question:
What exactly happens in Quebec during that carnival in February?(give a different answer) .
Inhabitants learn to enjoy their harsh climate and for 17 days they all participate in snow-friendly competitions...For a horse-driven sleigh ride, go to the Plains of Abraham, where the French and British once fought, or race with the canoe along the icy St. Lawrence, if you dare. All around town, snow-sculpting competitions are organized and people line up for the maple taffy in front of the wooden "sugar shacks".
