What kind of jobs do the people on Prince Edward Island, in the North Atlantic, have? I guess I'd die of boredom...(give a different answer) .
A friend of mine went for a vacation there and learned to appreciate how underpopulated the rest of Canada is. The island is small, with cattle farmers and tractors spread everywhere, as it was an agricultural area in its early ages. Now locals also provide the mainland with lobsters, scallops and oysters. Drop in mid-July if possible for the Lobster Carnival or go on a trip to observe the seals. Once, the island was famous for seal-hunting, making coats of their gleaming white fur!
