This street was actually named after a hospital created by nuns in the 17 th century. The Rue de l'Hopital is full of architectural quirks and highlights. You can see the Canadian Telegraph Chamber, The Lewis Building, The Centaur Theater, The Montreal Stock Exchange building or the Sun Life Annex building.
