The most animated spot of Montreal is Place Jacques Cartier, a square full of performance artists, street musicians, and the animated chatters from terrace restaurants lining its borders. when the chateau burned a public market was also set up here. you can also see the Colonne Nelson, a monument dedicated to admiral Nelson.
