general's question: I'm looking for a romantic hotel in Montreal, it would be great if not far from Place-d'Armes metro station... a quick answer is greatly appreciated(give a different answer) .
Last year I've stayed in hotel Auberge Les Passants du Sans Soucy, located on 171 rue St-Paul ouest, not far from the station you need. A really romantic atmosphere with brass beds and hard-wood floors (take a room with wooden beams and stone walls). A room will cost you about 150 C$ (with a breakfast served in a skylight nook included).
