Like in most resorts in Alberta, you will have a hard time finding accommodation in the summer. If all the hotels are booked, I think you should do just what I did. You can get a room in the private homes in and around Jasper, they cost like $70-80 for a double, but they are nicely furnished, spacious and very clean. Some of them even throw in a breakfast. You can find info on these homes at the Jasper tourist office.
