Hiking in Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland

Posted 1 year ago by avatar jean in response to rocker's question: Is Gros Morne National Park any good? What should I expect to see there? (give a different answer) .

The scenery is out of the ordinary, due to the stark fjords, glacial lakes and sharp cliffs. It's like nothing changed since a 1000 years ago, when the vikings established at L'Anse aux Meadows the first European colony. Tablelands hills are something to see, rusty, flat, a real prehistoric sample. Go hiking on Tablelands Trail, a 2 miles adventure from trout River gulch to Brook Canyon!
