grizzly's question:
Did anyone witness the rush of the tides in the bay of Fundy National Park? it must be fascinating(give a different answer) .
No doubt, as the waters here rise 48 feet in six hours. No open sea has ever seen that! When the waters retreat, you can walk on Alma beach for almost a mile and then, after a few hours, sail all that distance in a kayak. 100 billion tons of water rush back in, producing the noise locals call "the voice of the moon". You'll see birds feeding on the crustaceans brought by the sea and ancient plant fossils on the rocks!
