Where can I go see come war relics in Churchill?(give a different answer) .
The Cape Merry National Historic Site located a couple of minutes walking distance from the town centre has the remains of an eighteen century gun emplacement and a cairn commemorating Jens Munck, a danish explorer who lead an expedition that was forced to camp throughout the whole winter and of which many men died by cold and hunger. The site is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 10am and 2pm.
