You can find some 240 species of the most exotic birds and even more during migratory circles at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary located on St. George's Island in Calgary. To be more exact between 9th Avenue and 20A Street SE, 3 km downstream of the zoo. The sanctuary is open daily from dawn to dusk and there is no entrance fee. The birds are not for sale!
